Day 21: Solstice

Solstice

  • from the latin - the standing still of the sun

In the depth of winter comes a night of hope.

Even on the shortest night we know that nothing is permanent.

Throughout legends, gods and goddesses of light are born on the solstice to represent the fact that even in the barren, dark, frozen winter the sun is coming back.

What if you were to stand still for a moment, like the sun?

See the possibility that, unlike for the sun, every moment for us is a potential turning point.

Reflect on what is to come, what you want to bring in with the lengthening days?

And what will you take with you into this new season that you have been cultivating?
