Day 8: Love and loss

"Love is not a concept or an idea. It cannot be lost when the mind loses the ability to hold thoughts. if thoughts go, if memories go, Love does not.

Love doesn't need your memory to exist.

Love doesn't care if you forget."

Brianne Grebil, Love doesn't care if you forget
(writing from her personal experience of Love, Alzheiemers and Dementia)

We may of course experience a sense of loss when those we love are ill, absent or indeed have died. This doesn't mean that love has ended or been taken from us.

Love, like energy, can be neither created nor destroyed.

Love can only change in form.

Loss is the echo of that change.

Love endures.
